Do you like taking photos?

Grab your smartphone, go into your picture gallery and choose a photo that is particularly important to you. Show it to your partner and talk about it for about a minute explaining while you love it.

2. 1st watching/listening:

What important stages does the clip show from the singer's life?

Do you have photos (or a video) of the same important events of your life?

3. 2nd listening:

Before listening to the song again, complete the lyrics with the verbs from the box.

6. homework - writing

Here are two options to consider based on which social networking site your students use more.

option A - INSTAGRAM

note to the teacher: come up with a unique hashtag. (e.g. #myfavechildhoodpicgroup9a)

1. Post your favourite childhood photo on Instagram with the hashtag #myfavechildhoodpicgroup9a. Include a short description of around 50 words of why you chose this photo and what you're doing in it.

2. Search for your classmate's photos using the hashtag.

3. Comment on 3 other photos. Be nice! ;)

option B - FACEBOOK

note to the teacher: create a FB page/group for this - e.g. 9a's favourite childhood pictures, invite the students to like the page/join the group

1. Post your favourite childhood photo on Facebook. Include a short description of around 50 words of why you chose this photo and what you're doing in it.

2. Look at your classmate's photos.

3. Comment on 3 other photos. Be nice! ;)
